Considering the amount of gigs I go to/photograph it really isn’t very often that I stay till the very end and think ‘did they just play for hour and a half?!’ (I am easily bored). Paul Carrack managed to accomplish this “feat” on Friday night at the De Monfort Hall in Leicester leaving me incredibly impressed with his performance and songwriting abilities. The gig itself was a bit of a nightmare to shoot as Paul hid away behind his keyboard for the first 2 songs and so I only managed 1 useable shot in that time. He then switched to the guitar for the 3rd song and I managed to get a few more useable snaps. For those who don’t know standard venue rules are almost always you can photograph only the first 3 songs of the show, and so this is why this gig was such a difficult shoot. Images below.
